The first step to successful degree:
Establishing important foundations

LUNEX University’s Pre-Bachelor Foundation Programme is aimed at applicants for the Bachelor courses in Physiotherapy, Sport and Exercise Science and International Sport Management, who do not yet fulfil the admission criteria due to insufficient English skills or lacking the appropriate foundations in their science education.

The Pre-Bachelor Foundation Programme will provide you with the perfect basis for successfully completing your degree in the scheduled length of time. The results from your entrance test at one of our Application Days will indicate you whether you will need to participate in the Pre-Bachelor Foundation Programme before commencing your course. The Pre-Bachelor Foundation Programme is recommended for any prospective student who would like to optimally prepare for their studies.

Participants in the Pre-Bachelor Foundation Programme receive additional teaching in English and/or Science. If you can demonstrate that you only need support in one area, there is the option to skip one element and go to either English languages classes or just the Science part of the programme.

The Pre-Bachelor Foundation Programme is completed when you can successfully prove your acquired knowledge in an examination. Depending on prior knowledge and your rate of progress this generally takes six months. Participants subsequently start their course – there is no need to reapply.

Procedure & learning contents

In high school, I chose to specialize in engineering and therefore I didn’t get the basics in biology. So when I decided to study Physiotherapy, the Pre-Bachelor Foundation Programme was the best way for me get the basics in Biology, Chemistry, Maths and Physics. All the things I have learned in the PBFP are necessary in my current studies. Teachers were very helpful and invested in our success. We learned through differents activities such as group works or games. That was a good way to engage us with what we were learning. I like this approach better as it is less boring than classic learning.

Arthur, Physiotherapy Student

The English part of the Pre-Bachelor Foundation Programme was really interesting for me because I was not really confident with my English and scientific skills. So, it allowed me to feel ready for my studies to come. The Pre-Bachelor Foundation helped me with my English to be able to stay during 4 hours in class listening to English, which is not my mother tongue and it allowed me to be at the same level as everybody coming from everywhere around the world and to feel completely ready to follow a lecture of science.

  • Language certificate (if applicable)

Depending on the degree programme (Bachelor/Master) and your country of origin (EU/non-EU), further documents may be required. More details will be provided to you in good time.

To secure a study place, we recommend that you send us your documents as soon as possible – but at the latest two weeks before the start of your studies.
