We went to visit football, swimming and water polo infrastructure and you really see the insights into how it works and how people manage the business or the buildings. So, it really opens you to how it's done. My Erasmus in Barcelona was, I think, the best experience. I have been to many places, seen many people, and experienced many great things that I will remember for sure.

Lois on his exchange semester in Barcelona, Spain

LUNEX gave me the opportunity to go through the Erasmus+ programme for a semester in Barcelona. I studied at INEFC, the Sport Institute of Catalonia, in an amazing infrastructure. I took class of sports tourism, sports and leisure, sports events, statistics, sports law and management of sports infrastructure. It was very interesting with a lot of real cases to work on. The experience allowed me to meet a lot of new people, to grow my network but also to be immersed in a completely different culture than Luxembourg. Barcelona is really a beautiful city, living there allowed me to discover all the wonders that Catalonia has to offer.

Lorenzo on his exchange semester in Barcelona, Spain

My internship at the Sports Academy has been a great opportunity for me to gain a lot of practical experience from high-level coaches in the field of sports performance. [...] I am also very grateful to have participated in the NFL Pre-Combine Training and to have met so many amazing coaches and athletes as well as the Texas Legends, and to have been part of their training sessions where I helped the coaches and shadowed them.

Mike on his Erasmus+ traineeship experience in Frisco, Texas

I wanted to go where the culture is different and where things are done differenlty. Also, this would give me another point of view of sport in Europe. I chose Molde, because Norway is an extraordinary country to visit and I was there in 2020 (in Tromsø) and I really liked how they were living. [...] It was an amazing experience and I can recommend to everyone, who wants to go abroad to go to Norway, as it is really an adventure of a lifetime with a lot of new friends made on the way. Read his entire testimonial here.

The language of instruction in all courses at LUNEX is English. You should therefore be able to speak and understand English well. You have the opportunity to participate in the Pre-Bachelor Foundation Programme and improve your English if your language skills do not meet the entrance requirements for study at Bachelor level.

We will inform you in the course of the application process which supporting documents have to be provided and when. In principle, we need the following documents for your application:

  • Copy of your personal ID
  • Copy of the highest educational and/or vocational qualification
  • Language certificate (if applicable)

Depending on the degree programme (Bachelor/Master) and your country of origin (EU/non-EU), further documents may be required. More details will be provided to you in good time.

To secure a study place, we recommend that you send us your documents as soon as possible – but at the latest two weeks before the start of your studies. If you are an applicant from outside the EU, you should note that the application process for a visa can take four to 60 days. Please make sure you give yourself plenty of time.
