Information for international students

If you are considering studying abroad and might like to study at LUNEX University, our International Office would be more than happy to help and advise you, and can offer you a range of support options. They will guide you through the application process and explain how to navigate the necessary formal requirements as smoothly as possible.

Visas and residence permits

EU citizens do not require a visa, whilst non-EU citizens need to apply for a visa and/or a residence permit. These allow you to reside in Luxembourg for a period of more than three months.

Before applying for a visa, you will need to successfully complete your application for a place at university. Once we have checked your documents and you have been officially accepted, we will send you a Certificate of Acceptance and your Study Agreement. You will also receive a Letter of Admission. You will need the Letter of Admission to apply for your student visa and/or residence permit for the Grand Duchy of Luxembourg at the Luxembourg embassy:
